Daybreak Photoshoot: Behind the Scenes Video
January 12, 2008
Hey guys.
Yesterday I did a photoshoot with Sydney band Daybreak for their upcoming EP. (available in march)
Please support me by supporting them at www.myspace.com/banddaybreak
The theme for the day was water and we needed to shoot the following pictures:
Cover Shot
Individual Portraits for inside booklet
Band Shot for back of the booklet
Water Abstracts for CD/Inlay
Click Here to see the Behind the Scenes video of the day.

Here are the photos
For the Strobist visitors, here are the set-ups:
Individual Portraits:
Ring Flash directly above the subject, with the lens shooting straight through.
No Ambient Light.
Water Abstracts:
Cross lit with a speedlite 430ex and a sunpak flash
Hose dripped from the top balcony in front of a plain wall (for colour backdrop)
Band Shot:
Key light supplied by a speedlite 430ex (bare)
Back/Rim light is a Sunpak (bare)
Cover Shot:
Key Light is a speedlite 430ex (bare) held suspended directly above the subject
Rim Light is a sunpak (bare) to the back left to give an edge to the subject’s hand.
